It was established in 2016 by HIV infected /affected women and health care researcher promoting the health , safety and protection of vulnerable and high -risk women and children. The aim of Shanti Foundation is to work for the successful reintegration of sex trafficking survivors and HIV/AIDS infected /affected women, youth of all genders, and children through counseling, prevention, protection, treatment and the development of sustainable livelihoods and economic empowerment having vision to make the vulnerable people safe and secure. Shanti Foundation's vision is world free of stigma and discrimination where all HIV and AIDS infected/affected women , youth ,and children will lead a quality and productivity with equality and freedom in society. |

| 23 Mar 20 | As you may be aware the Prime Minister of Nepal has announced that to prevent COVID-19 outbreak, all non-essential services, public and private, should be suspended across Nepal till April 3rd. The office of the Shanti Foundation would also like to adhere to the Government of Nepal decision by closing office. Meanwhile, all the staff will work from home. The normal work from the office will resume from March 31st. However, this depends on further notice from the government. We will keep you updated. Note: The final report of Community Health Strengthening Project will be submitted by the end of March. |
