ANMF/Nepal reports: The structure of Chauthe community has almost been completed and has a week of work left. We will move forward with the final payment as soon as the structure has been completed. Few concerns are there in health center as it is in need of a retention wall as you can see on the attached photos. As we can assess this situation and come up with a solution. The Local ward office They will sustain the health center and If possible, in with support of the ward office of we can construct a retention wall which will be a huge help. |

Report from ANMF/Nepal: We went to submit the request for approval of the project (Chahuthe Community health care center) at Social Welfare Welfare Council (SWC) today and the official at SWC asked us to get further documents including drawing of the land where the health care center is about to be constructed, Bills of Quantities (BOQ) regarding the materials that will be used for the construction of the health care center, as well as an approval from District Health Office and an approval of the map (drawing) from the municipality. |

The Kali Devi Agriculture Cooperative institution (Mr. Posh Nath Dhungana along with other local peoples at Chauthe) has requested ANMF/Nepal to construct a community health care center as they were not allowed to register themselves as an institution to work in the health sector. ANMF/Nepal has received letters for the construction of Chauthe community health care center from rural municipality and ward level. |

The proposal to construct a health post at Chauthe, Nuwakot was initially submitted by Kali Devi Agriculture Cooperative Limited. ANMF/Nepal requested Mr. Poush Nath Dhungana to amend their (Kali Devi Agriculture Cooperative Limited) constitution so that they can work on health sectors too. |

Project approved by ANMF Board. ANMF Nepal has approved this project after doing their due diligence. Community co-operative that has been formed by the locals have set up funds to staff and have deposited NRS 200,000 at a local bank. Of the total cost to construct this CHC, USD $35,000 will come from funds collected by Dr Sanjaya Khanal and team. This project will be run by ANMF/Nepal in conjunction with rest of the other health facilities being constructed and monitored. |
