There was initial delay in implementing the project due to unstable political climate. Now the project is back on track with the first phase starting in June 2004. The list of equipment to be purchased has been approved by ANMF. |

Nepal Medical Association has issued a purchase order for server and is waiting for delivery. Supplier has included a desk top computer and other needed accessories and HealthNet has started software installation. |

Phase I completed. ANMF/Nepal releases funds ($5000) for distribution to grantee for Phase II. |

Though all the equipments for the Butwal Healthnet has already been purchased, the installation work still seems to be remaining thus making the projects first phase incomplete. In order accomplish our objective it has been decided that the remaining fund of US $5,000 will be handed over to Butwal Healthnet when the installation process is complete. |
