Depending on local vendor for providing critical care services, difficult to provide such regular services, so since long time human resources available but due to oxygen plant unable to provide regular ventilator services in critical care and also it make this tertiary center refer other private level hospital. Although this is one of the oldest hospital of Nepal.

Koshi Hospital main theme to provide continue health care with quality services as tertiary level. This is only Direct central government funded Hospital of eastern Nepal. This hospital not only providing Nepalese citizen, this hospital also provide neighboring country patients of India as well. As a back ground of more than 100 years of health care services.

24 Oct 21  ANMF/Nepal reports project is completed. Final report will be sent soon.
5 Sep 21  Amit Chaudhary (Biomedical Engineer) and Bikrant Rana (ANMF/Nepal) visited Koshi Hospital on 2nd and 3rd September 2021 for the final engineer assessment of the oxygen plant. Everything seems to be in order. As the process was completed, ANMF/Nepal has handed over the oxygen plant to Koshi Hospital. A program will be conducted soon to officially hand over the Oxygen plant. (See Photos)

2 Mar 21  Update received from ANMF/Nepal. “The building construction of Koshi oxygen plant has been completed and the installation of the pipeline has been discussed as per our recent visit to the site. Me along with our biomedical engineer Amit Chaudhary and the vendor visited the site and had a meeting with the authorities of Koshi Hospital and finalized where the Gas pipelines and the manifolds would be placed. The vendor has said in a month's time the plant will arrive and will be installed so after that we will hand over the Oxygen plant to Koshi Hospital.”
17 Jan 21  The structure for the oxygen plant has almost finished and our biomedical engineer Amit Chaudhary and Office Manager Bikrant will visit the site before the installation of pipelines to make sure everything is on track. The vendor has said it will be complete in a month time.
12 Dec 20  Tender process has finished and we have selected the vendor to procure the oxygen plant. Diagnochem International is the vendor that we had selected after being the lowest and eligible bidder for the oxygen plant on the date October 19, 2020. Diagnochem International has submitted the design for the foundation works. Diagnochem International has informed us it will take approximately 1 or 1 and half months for the oxygen plant to arrive after which we will handover it over to the Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar.
1 Nov 20  $101,000 transferred to ANMF/Nepal.
10 Jul 20  Technical Specification and Tender documents has been made with the help of Amit Chaudhary (Biomedical Engineer). Tender process to be carried out to procure the Oxygen plant as soon as the Corona situation will be stable. Funds are yet to be transferred.
19 Mar 20  Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) received from ANMF/Nepal.
16 Mar 20  Status report from ANMF/Nepal: “MOU has not been sent by ANMF-US which is to be done with ANMF-Nepal. Technical Specification and Tender documents has been made with the help of Amit Chaudhary (Biomedical Engineer). Funds are yet to be transferred.”
