As the positive case of Corona among the HCWs [health care workers] and hospital staff is increasing rapidly in major public institutions. Hospital authorities have not been able to able to provide proper quality mask to the HCWs. ANMF will be able to provide 3m masks to protect the HCWs of the Public institutions of Kathmandu. ANMF will use the $17,950 funds to buy 3,500 piece of 3m masks for the HCWs of public institution of Kathmandu.
America Nepal Medical Foundation – Nepal (ANMF/Nepal) is ANMF/USA's sister organizatin in Nepal. Although there is nolegal connection between the two (beyond memoranda of understanding) they coordinate closely.
America Nepal Medical Foundation-Nepal (ANMF-Nepal) is an organization which consists of a group of reputed doctors and who volunteers in order to strengthen the health care delivery services of Nepal. The board members of ANMF/Nepal are working at different health care systems at National Level and they volunteer in this organization. The ANMF/Nepal implements the projects very efficiently with very less overhead cost. Mainly ANMF/Nepal donates the funds directly to other implementing partners (which are mainly government institutions).

Project closed by the ANMF/USA Board of Directors.
By web ballot, the ANMF/USA Board approved reallocating the funding of USD $17,950. The reallocation amendment includes $9,400 for 3,000 N95 masks and $8,550 for High Flow oxygen.

ANMF/Nepal reports they “have planned to spend $9400 of the budget on 3000 pc 3M N95 masks and $8,550 of the budget on High flow oxygen. The total budget will still remain $17,950 dollars for the project. We have already bought the 3000 pc of 3M N95 mask and will be handing over it to major public institutions in Kathmandu.”
