These are main reasons why we need oxygen plant:

1. Amppipal hospital is situated in quite remote area of Gorkha district of Gandaki province, mostly poor and marginalized people living who need better health care with full range of facilities in their nearest.
2. Mostly old people are suffering with COPD and phenomena. Children are suffering with phenomena. They need oxygen.
3. No compressed oxygen are using in hospital yet because of various difficulties. (No medical oxygen is producing even in Gandaki province, difficulties to transport from Kathmandu, refilling problems).
4. Many other districts/government and private hospitals are needing medical oxygen gas. They can get oxygen near by at Amppipal hospital. We can provide them.
5. COPD patients can buy the oxygen cylinder and use at home when it is necessary. It makes them very comfortable and no need to pay extra cost in hospital or transportation.
6. Many Ambulance are needing relling of oxygen in short period of time. They can get it from us.
7. Amppipal Hospital can have one regular source of income by providing oxygen to other hospitals or home users.
8. It will be one ambitious but very necessary element to promote health care to the community and nation.

Goals of the program:

• To support to Amppipal hospital by providing:
  1. compressed Oxygen gas in Operation theatre
  2. regular supply of oxygen in critical care unit
  3. supply of oxygen to inpatients and out patients as needed.
  4. regular income generating source by selling medical oxygen
• To support to the community by providing
  1. Oxygen cylinders to domiciliary treatment
  2. Oxygen refilling to their nearest place, that saves time and money.
• To support to other hospitals/districts by providing
  1. Oxygen cylinders and refilling facilities

Main goal of this Oxygen Plant project is to support to population of Gandaki province who are in need.
