| Project: | Kanti Children’s Hospital is the only tertiary level 400 bedded children’s hospital of Nepal. Oncology department holds 14 beds providing medical therapy of all variety of childhood cancers. We would like to upgrade and update the pediatric oncology therapy by training doctors and nurses and supplying chemotherapy medicines.
There is lack of trained manpower in the Pediatric Oncology in Nepal. For the last ten years we are providing basic oncology diagnostic, therapeutic and follow up services to the children suffering from various oncology problems from all areas of Nepal. There is lack of trained manpower in this field. We aim to provide training to doctors and nurses to improve their skills and build up their capacity to serve the children suffering from this dreadful disease. We believe that this training will strengthen the services in the field of Pediatric Oncology in Kanti Children’s Hospital. Reference: Pediatric Blood and Cancer Vol. 43. |
