| Report: | May 5/6, 2015 – Drs Dinesh and Sandesh along with team rubicon volunteers ran a camp in Sermanthan. They saw about 125 patients. Case mix included blunt trauma; wound infection needing debridements, I and D and dressing changes and children with diarrheal disease and URI. At Sermanthan, our medical team conducted a public health awareness program regarding prevention of water-borne diarrheal illness.
May 4, 2015 – Another group of ten hiked about one and half hour to the village of Chimi and Sermanthan. Medical camps were set up by Dr Ganesh Chaudhary in Chimi and Drs Dinesh subedi and Sandesh Pandit in Sermanthan. Case mix consisted of soft tissue injuries, wound infection and URI. About 12 patients were seen in Chimi and another 30 were seen in Sarmanthan. |
