Dr. Pandey reports: The topic approved by ANMF has been amended to "Variation of ASVS vials with respect to first Aid, duration of bite and means of transport", as per the suggestion of ethical clearance board of NHRC. So, I have been collecting data to meet up the objective of amended research topic that is quite specific. We collected data on April onwards while the proposal has been under consideration by ethical clearance board of NHRC because of seasonal case of snakebite problems. It was done as per the suggestion of officer of NHRC – (Sharma sir). However, we have studied 14 envenomed cases till today. Interestingly, the highest ASV consumption is 94 ASVS vials and minimum is 28 vials. We will analyse the data partially while the case number exceeds 25. |
